Seminar on business opportunities between Brazil and Slovakia held in Bratislava

BSCC Chairman Milan Cigáň and other members took part in a “Round Table on Economic Cooperation Opportunities with Brazil”, organized by the Bratislava Section of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SOPK) on 11 April. More than twenty companies from Slovakia had the opportunity to talk about the potential to develop business links with Brazil in sectors such as foodstuff, construction, IT and engineering. The discussions highlighted that the Brazilian and the Slovak economies share a high degree of complementarity which remains to be explored. It was also noticed that the business community confidence in the Brazilian economy is on the rise, as shown by the steady reduction of the 5 Years Credit Default Swaps (CDS) rating for Brazil.
