Trade News Embratur – Gastronomy Tourism Edition

In 2024, Brazil was nominated for South America’s Leading Culinary Destination 2024 in recognition of the excellence of its gastronomy. The cullinary scene in Brazil offers a unique experience, inspired by its rich cultural diversity and the country’s six biomes. Additionally, Brazilian restaurants and chefs stand out in international and Latin American awards and rankings. Winners are chosen through online voting by the public and trade experts at both regional and global levels. Considering this, Embratur is promoting and encouraging its national and international trade partners to vote for Brazil. The voting period runs until April 7th 2024.

To enhance the nomination, Embratur launches the Brazil for Foodies campaign, inviting tourists to further discover and be enchanted by Brazilian cuisine. Gastronomy is already one of the most highly rated aspects by foreigners who visit Brazil, which is why Brazil aims to increasingly be recognized as aleading culinary destination in Latin America and worldwide.
