Bratislava had a lively night last 7th of September, with Brazilian rhythms setting the tone for the celebration of 199 years of the independence of Brazil. Guests who attended the official Residence had the chance to try typical specialities from the Brazilian cuisine, including pão-de-queijo (cheese bread) and meat varieties. Brazilians’ favorite cocktail, the ever-present caipirinha, brought some tropical flavor to that late-summer night. BSCC members operating in the food industry had the opportunity to introduce their products during the event.
Expectations are high for the celebrations in 2022, as Brazil will reach in September the special mark of 200 years of independence.
